PAOK FC announce that they have agreed a partnership with Nike, the world’s biggest sportswear manufacturer, starting on 1st July 2013.
Nike will become the official apparel and equipment supplier for all PAOK sections. The players will be sporting Dri-FIT technology kits, garments that control temperature, wick moisture away from the body and are breathable featuring ventilation zones to allow air to flow and cool the body where needed the most.
PAOK decided in favour of Nike, after systematic market research. It is the first time that PAOK collaborate with Nike for their apparel.
PAOK FC president Zisis Vryzas said: “Our collaboration with Nike is yet another piece of the puzzle of this interesting period in PAOK’s history. Nike are an ideal partner, given their expertise, quality and ground-breaking athletic apparel they offer. Our deal with the world’s biggest sportswear company is an additional sign of PAOK’s enhanced status. Along with Nike, we aim to write new glorious pages in our club’s history books”.
Nike Hellas general manager Kristjan Luha said: “We are particularly pleased to strike a deal with the football team of PAOK. PAOK are a big, historic club, renowned for their passion and fantastic supporters. We are looking forward to working together and wish the team all the best for the upcoming season”.
