Back to work
After enjoying Sunday’s break, the squad returned to training on Monday evening in Nea Mesimvria. Răzvan Lucescu was happy to see more players at his disposal.
There is Super League action on the weekend (against Lamia in Toumba, on Sunday at 16:00) and PAOK started preparing for it.
They kicked off training with the necessary warm-up routine, that lasted a bit longer due for the gradual reintegration of players to action.
After some possession games, the players split into two groups. While one was working on their tactics with the coach, the other would play a training game in reduced space.
Róbert Mak joined his team-mates after returning from international duty with Slovakia, while Dimitris Limnios and Achilleas Pouggouras also trained normally after recovering from their respective injuries.
Djalma Campos worked apart, following a very intense program, as a final test of his readiness. The Angolan winger responded very well and is expected to train normally from now on.
Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
