Work in attack and defence
PAOK need to become more clinical in their opponents’ box and, at the same time, remain compact at the back and shut down all spaces towards their own goal.
In Friday’s training, Răzvan Lucescu and his assistants worked on both attack and defence. Players were split in two groups. The attacking ones were aiming to score in 3v2 (outnumbering) situations and the second group practiced breaking defensive lines and reach the final attacking line within a specific time frame.
El Kaddouri trained normally, Maurício continued his recovery program with exercices on the pitch and the gym, while Giannis Mystakidis started a program of ball drills, on his way to reintegrate full training.
PAOK players have the weekend off and their next training session is scheduled for Monday 13 November (at 19:00).
