Next up: qualification to the Greek Cup final
PAOK made light work of yet another game and now, on full concentration mode, they focus on the remaining encounters until the end of the season.
As always, the next match is the most important one. PAOK face Panionios once again, but for another competition. It’s the second leg of the Greek Cup semi-finals.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” have already the advantage in this tie, but in football nothing is decided beforehand –as long as football is played on the pitch. Răzvan Lucescu is expected to have José Ángel Crespo at his disposal. The Spaniard was substituted out of precaution on Saturday, due to hamstring pains. He did physiotherapy and will be ready to play, barring unforeseen circumstance.
Stelios Malezas continued his recovery program, along Marko Mihojević (hamstring). The medical staff is planning to have them ready for the encounter against Xanthi.
Those who featured against Panionios, did decompression work on Sunday. The rest went through full training, with possession, passing and tactical drills.
Monday’s training session is scheduled to start at 18:00 in Toumba Stadium.
