U17s are off to Agrinio for the Final Four

Super League U17 Final Four is the grandest occasion of youth football in Greece and PAOK are of course invited. It kicks off on 28 May at Agrinio with the participation of PAOK, Olympiacos, PAS Giannina and Asteras Tripolis.

PAOK U17s participate in their fifth successive Final Four. In 2013 they won the league title, while last season they lost to Olympiacos in a penalty shoot-out in the semis.

On 28 May, at 8 pm at Panetolikos ground, PAOK face Asteras Tripolis. Earlier, at 5 pm, Olympiacos take on PAS Giannina. The final will take place on 30 May, at 18.00. The semis are held between the first-placed and the second-placed teams of the two groups.

Let us remind you how the two U17 groups unfolded. Standings in Group B: PΑΟΚ 72, PAS Giannina 54, SKODA Xanthi, 48, Panetolikos 47, Panthrakikos 43, Veria 29, AO Kerkyra 20, Niki Volos. Group A: Olympiacos 68, Asteras Tripolis 57, Panathinaikos 55, Panionios 49, Atromitos 36, Platanias 35, Ergotelis 30, Levadiakos 29, AEL Kalloni 13, OFI 13.

PAOK travelled to Agrinio on Tuesday. They trained at Emileon in the evening and will return for another session on Wednesday 27 May at 7.30 pm.

PAOK U17 team for the Final Four consists of: Marios Siampanis, Giorgos Papathanasiou, Stavros Charalampidis, Panagiotis Panagiotidis, Nikos Paspalas, Sokratis Kyrillidis, Alexandros Koutousis, Dimitris Kligopoulos, Giorgos Noukaris, Konstantinos Chatzidimpas, Nikolas Mattheou, Konstantinos Dimitriou, Sokratis Aidonidis, Meletios Miskovic, Giorgos Muca, Alexandros Kapretsos, Vasilis Argyriou, Vasilis Efthymiou, Charalampos Yfantidis, Fotis Konstantinou, Polykarpos Liaptsis, Thomas Makousis, Efthymis Karapetsas, Stergios Totolidis.

The team will be accompanied by coaches Alexis Tasoulis and Thanos Kourtoglou, U20 and U17 team manager Stavros Sarafis, technical advisor of U20, U17, U16 and U15 teams Grigoris Karavelis, goalkeeping coach Dimitris Kryonas, physiotherapist Petros Nikolakoudis and kit manager Deltsiou.
