The final result speaks for itself. Igor Tudor’s players didn’t leave any room for their rivals and showed them from minute on who’s the boss.

In the first 15 minutes, PAOK had already taken a 3-0 lead. Lucas Pérez, who was among the best and was acclaimed by 13.000 fans when substituted, scored the opener after just 3 minutes of play, netting the rebound following Róbert Mak’s shot. Scorer turned to provider and vice versa a few minutes later, with the Spaniard setting up the Slovakian with an excellent through ball and the latter making it 2-0. In the 14th minute, Εfthymis Koulouris fired a side shot and Dimitris Pelkas intervened to score with a fine volley.

Stelios Kitsiou netted a solo effort to make it 4-0 before the interval.

As expected, pace dropped in the second half. PAOK players didn’t relinquish control of the game and would create their occasional chances to enhance their lead. They managed that in the 59th minute. After a cross by Mak, Mrčela tried to clear away but the ball hit Andrijašević’s head and landed at the back of the net.

PAOK sealed their 6-0 victory with Mak, who culminated a fine attacking move of the team and a pinpoint cross by Kitsiou with a powerful shot. A goal that gave an even more festive tone to the “Double-Headed Eagle’s” first official home match.

PΑΟΚ: Olsen, Vítor, Costa, Tzavellas, Kace, Tziolis (46’ Maduro), Mak, Kitsiou , Pelkas , Lucas (82’ Mystakidis), Koulouris (60’ Raț).

NK Lokomotiva Zagreb: Zelenika, Bartolec, Mrčela, Prenga (25’ Mišić), Šovšić, Begonja, Bručić, Andrijašević, Leko (46’ Doležal), Marić (56’ Capan), Kolar.
