Pelkas out – Malezas, Leovac return

PAOK were split into two groups again for training on Tuesday, as those who played against Iraklis did recuperation work.

18.10.2016

The session for the rest consisted of possession games in reduced space and transition games from defence to attack and vice versa.

Dimitris Pelkas has suffered an edema to one of his deep hip rotator muscles and he is expected back to trainings in a fortnight.

Stelios Malezas’s MRI revealed a 1st degree bruise of the foot ligaments. The Greek defender did specific training with balance drills and jogging and he is expected to train normally on Wednesday (19 October).

Marin Leovac followed personalized training with rehab trainer Petar Milkanović and will be back at Vladan Ivić’s disposal on Wednesday.

Stefanos Athanasiadis suffered a knee bruise from a knock sustained during the encounter against Iraklis and, along with normal training, he did physiotherapy in the affected area.

Giorgos Tzavellas’s MRI proved that his rehabilitation is going according to plan. His condition has improved and he is doing strengthening drills and jogging on the pitch.
