During one of the few intervals in PAOK’s intense work outs, André Vieirinha told his coach out of breath: “We don’t want another three-day break”!

This scene pretty much describes how things unfolded in Nea Mesimvria on Friday. Running, lots of running. As Răzvan Lucescu explained to Vieirinha, “it’s like preseason training. We have one-and-a-half month ahead of us and we want to win everything”.

After the first part of the session, consisting of physical condition drills, the strengthening program continued with ball exercises and games in reduced space. Dimitris Pelkas and Omar El Kaddouri went on with their personalized training with ball and Pontus Wernbloom worked out in the gym and the pool.

Saturday’s training session is scheduled to start at 11:00 in PAOK’s sports centre in Nea Mesimvria.
