New Toumba work group convene
The second meeting of the joint work group, consisting of PAOK FC representatives and the authorities who have undertaken the project of the New Toumba Stadium construction, was held on Wednesday 20 March.
The representatives of the study group, headed by architect and urban planner Mr Doumas, were also present in the meeting.
After processing all relevant data gathered in past months, the work group confirmed the Special Territorial Design and the interventions needed that will be submitted to the Thessaloniki Municipal Council and the Regional Council for approval in upcoming days.
The approval of the Special Territorial Design by the relevant councils is an important stepping stone towards the initial “green light” by the relevant committee of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
After this “go ahead”, the coast will be clear for the completion of the Special Territorial Design and all necessary architectural projects.
