The floodlights were turned on, the turnstiles were opened, and the fans took to their seats in the Toumba stands. And just like that, the team’s preparation for the upcoming match against Larissa kicked off in the best way possible – with an open training session for the first time in a long time.
To make the day an even more memorable one, the training session was also broadcast live via PAOK TV on YouTube. The session was comprised of fitness conditioning exercises, possession games, passing and build-up play, and of course finished off with a friendly match battle on one half of the pitch, with thousands of fans cheering the players on.
Michailids and Mijah joined in the session having returned from international duty, while Diego Biseswar completed a wind-down program. Injury victims Jaba and Wernbloom both continued their respective individual recovery programs.
On Tuesday (19.11) the Dikefalos tou Vorra will train at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
