Next Mission: Atromitos

Despite the euphoria of Tuesday’s victory over Benfica, there’s no time for celebrations. With the task of challenging for honors on both domestic and European fronts, PAOK now turns its attention to the upcoming match on Friday (18.09, 19:00) against Atromitos.

16.09.2020

Just several hours after achieving a historic qualification in the Champions League against Benfica, the PAOK squad and coaching staff were back for training at Nea Mesimvria to begin planning for the upcoming Super League Interwetten match against their opponents from Peristeri in Athens.

Those players who were included in the starting XI against the Portuguese team executed a recovery training program, while the rest of the group were put through their paces in a strenuous workout, with emphasis placed on passing and possession, as well as some tactical pointers relating to the approach for the next match.

Douglas Augusto trained normally with the squad, while Rodrigo continued his individual training program as he looks to recover fully from injury.

The Doubled-headed Eagle squad will train again on Thursday (17.09) at 19:00 at the Toumba Stadium.
