It’s a special gift when you can read the game and make the right decisions. It means few can predict the pass you’ll make, or what else you’re going to do next. Your play can often change the game. In short, this is what PAOK TV Play of the Month’s in all about.
Stefan Schwab is one of those players who always seems to make the right choice at the right time. And that’s why he is the winner of PAOK TV’s October Play of the Month, with his assist for Omar El Kaddouri’s goal against OFI.
It was a goal that resulted from an exceptional team effort, with the ball passing through a cluth of players before ending up in the back of the net. El Kaddouri gave the ball to Andrija Zivkovic , and he in turn passed it on to Leo Matos. The Brazilian found the Moroccan, and he passed to Schwab, and the Austrian surged forward before squaring the bal across for El Kaddouri to score and make it 1-0.
And so with the final assist in that move, Schwab came out on top in the poll, claiming 58,86% of the votes to bring home the individual award. It’s his second of the month, since he also won the award for October’s BOX MVP.
In second place was Ingi Ingason’s mazy run against Granada, while the podium was completed by Douglas Augusto’s impressive dribble in the same game. The Brazilian won possession with determination, and when to beat two defenders before sending Dimitris Giannoulis clean through on goal with a precise pass.
