Tzolis chalks up a hat-trick of BOX MVP wins

He is without doubt one of the stars of the season. Before he even completes 12 months as a member of the first team squad, Christos Tzolis has made the world sit up and take notice of him. And he enjoys the plaudits in his own way. The Golden Boy adds the Box MVP for January award to his trophy cabinet.

24.02.2021

It is the third BOX MVP in a row that he has won, and without doubt the toughest competition so far. A January packed with fixtures and tough games did not seem to bother him. He got his head down and was fully focused, with his foot fimly pressed on the accelerator.

Nine appearances, five goals and two assists are the impressive numbers, but in addition to those stats he was a constant source of danger for his team.

And in the vote for the BOX MVP for the month of January, the Golden Boy received 53,54% of the votes to claim the prize, following up the awards he won for November and December.

What makes this particular award so special was the tough competition he was up against. Both Ingi Ingason and Michael Krmencik could not knock Tzolis off his perch, despite their exceptional performances during January.
