The last training session before the game was held on Saturday morning (11.09) at the Toumba. The players worked with the coaching staff on the tactical approach for the upcoming match, and there was emphasis placed on static phases, while in the final part of the session there was a mini-friendly.

Omar El Kaddouri continued the treatments he has been following, while Ingi Ingason worked individually on the training pitches and in the gym. Razvan Lucescu is without the injured Nelson Oliveira and Andrija Zivkovic, who is in quarantine in Serbia according to medical protocols.
