Under-15 side clinch win at Atromitos
PAOK’s Under-15 side came away victorious from another trip to Athens. The Double-headed Eagle beat Atromitos 1-0 and remain top of the Super League championship with 18 points having played one less match than Olympiakos – who also have 18 points. The Piraeus club will play that match next Wednesday, December 1st against Asteras Tripolis.
The goal that decided the outcome of the match and the destination of the three points for PAOK came from Tsifoutis, who scored in the 44th minute with an impressively acrobatic bicycle kick from Vyrsokinos’s cross. PAOK had the upper hand for the majority of the game and even came close to adding another goal with two good efforts from Eleftheriadis and Tachmetzidis. The opposition struggled to threaten the PAOK goal and the visitors were able to hold on comfortably to take the win.
