Attention turns to OFI
Because of the fact that in no aspect of life can you cut out the psychology that comes with results, the same applies to football. PAOK started 2022 with a victory, something which will help the team as they head into a very demanding program of fixtures.
The Double-headed Eagle has now chalked up six consecutive victories and the team continues to build momentum during this phase of «reconstruction» as described by Razvan Lucescu. The next test, which is just a breath away, is Saturday’s (15.01) clash against OFI.
The preparation for the game started on Thursday (13.01) morning in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting lineup in the match against Panetolikos went out onto the practice pitches to perform a recovery and rehabilitation program. The rest of the squad worked under the guidance of the coaching team on attacking tactics and build-up play through various exercises and games.
No new problems arose with regard to injuries, with just Nelson Oliveira and Omar El Kaddouri continuing their individual training programs.
Training will take place again on Friday (14.01) at the Toumba at 18:00.
