Paschalakis’ historic save
Alexandros Paschalakis’ penalty save in the match against Midtyjlland at the Toumba is February’s nak Play of the Month.
The UEFA Europa Conference League Play Offs tie with Midtjylland led to a penalty shootout. PAOK had never succeeded in one in the past. And between the posts there was Alexandros Paschalakis. The 32-year-old goalkeeper had never had such an experience. However, he managed to prove that he was ready for it.
The Goldkeeper faced Meyer, and thwarted the opposing player. His teammates did their duty from the spot and PAOK were rewarded with a great qualification to the Round of 16.
In the nak Play for the Month poll, Paschalakis received 46.33% of the vote and won the award for the second consecutive month, following up on his victory in January, making his second double after his victory in the BOX MVP competition.
In second place was Vieirinha’s wonderful pass to Mitrita against AEK at the OAKA, while the podium was completed by Colak’s assist for A. Zivkovic’s goal in the game with the Danes at the Toumba.
