PAOK B at the Symposium in Sports Science and Performance
Scientific support in professional sports continues to evolve perpetually. In the last decade, there has been an explosion in the research sector and in the tools that analyze the performance of athletes, creating masses of data aimed at improvement and high efficiency.
PAOK B coach Haris Komsis, therefore, had the honor to participate in the Symposium in Sports Science and Performance, organized on May 18 by the University of Suffolk (University of Ipswich in Great Britain), in collaboration with the sponsorship of STATSports and Metrica Sports.
Internationally-recognized sports scientists presented their latest findings from innovative research projects, analyzed their professional practice and shared their rich experiences in sports science and performance.
Among other things, the renowned Dr. Chris Bishop shared his knowledge with the participants in the conference, speaking about «Calculations and the importance of analyzing individual data», as well as the head of performance of Watford.
