From the plane to the pitch
PAOK kicked off their basic stage of their pre-season training on Monday (27.06) afternoon in Apeldoorn.
With some new faces, new goals, and good spirits, PAOK arrived at midday in (oh, what a surprise) the rainy Netherlands, which will be home for the squad for the next 14 days. A few hours after arriving at the hotel, both players and technical staff were already out on the training pitch.
After warming up with some exercises and games related to fitness, the program also included passing and circulation of the ball within limited spaces, and some tactics divided into defense and attack on two different pitches.
In the last part of the session there was a three-team tournament, with plenty of goals and spectacle to enjoy, with Razvan Lucescu also intervening when necessary to pass on some instructions.
Andre Vieirinha followed an individual training program on the pitch. Adrija Zivkovic is expected to join up with the squad on Tuesday (June 28th), while Enea Mihaj arrives on June 29th, and Jasmin Kurtic on July 1st.
On Tuesday (28.06) PAOK will have a double training session at 11:00 and 19:00 Greek time, while on Wednesday (29.07, 20:00) the team will play their first pre-season friendly against Go Ahead Eagles.
