The Matchday 6 clash was a good spectacle for the neutral in Souroti, with dynamism, passion, some great football and suspense right until the end.

PAOK took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal by Goumas, continued to dominate, and created enough good chances to have been two goals to the good before half-time.

In the second half the game was more balanced, and since the Double-headed Eagle did not take advantage of their opportunities, the home side were punished during a counter attack by the visitors. The Greens were awarded a penalty and it was successfully converted in the 65th minute for 1-1, and the game took on an even better tempo afterwards. PAOK pushed until the end for a winning goal, however, and they were vindicated in the 91st minute with Tsikos teeing up Tzimas to score.

PAOK lineup:

Monastirlis, Tasiouras, Filon, Zilos, Sinanai (80′ Selimai), Tsikos, Adam (70′ Gitersos), Kalogiros (70′ Athanasiou), Babouras (46′ Georgiadis), Goumas (60′ Scznauczner), Tzimas.
