Narey’s masterpiece
Khaled Narey’s wonderful strike against OFI in Crete has come out on top in the vote via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App as the Regency Casino Best Goal of September.
A goal that is pure poetry in creation and execution. A magical pass from the captain, Andre Vieirinha, in behind the opposition defence, an incredible piece of skill to control the ball with his chest, and then a flawless finish from Narey.
The result was more or less expected. That is not to say that the header from Jasmin Kurtic against Lamia at the Toumba was not a beautiful goal, but there was no question of Narey losing this award.
The German pulled in 87,68% of the votes in the poll and easily clinched the the award for the second successive month, leaving the Sniper in second place.
