Θνδερ-19s to play in Al Abtal International Cup

A series of interesting matches will be played on Spanish soil by the Under-19 team, who kick off their obligation in the Al Abtal tournament on November 16. PAOK will play in the third group together with Villarreal, Newcastle, Austria Vienna and two teams from Saudi Arabia, the Green Future Falcons and White Future Falcons.

PAOK’s Under-19 side travel to Tarragona on Tuesday 15.11 with the White Future Falcons being their first opponents. They will play five games lasting two 45 minutes with players born from January 1, 2004 onwards.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

White Future Falcons – PAOK 16.11.2022

PAOK – Villarreal 21.12.22

Newcastle – PAOK 25.01.23

Green Future Falcons – PAOK 01.03.23

PAOK – Austria Vienna 12.04.23

The matches will be held in Salou (Tarragona) and Madrid.

According to the organizers, if the conditions and the teams’ schedule allow it, a second phase will be held with games between the top four of the groups and the three best runners-up.

It should be noted that the other three groups are made up of teams such as: Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Valencia, Monaco, Marseille, Red Star, Genk, Dinamo Zagreb, Slavia Prague, while Olympiacos and AEK are also participating.

Al Abtal is an international tournament under the auspices of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Sports, which aims to showcase the future stars of international football and strengthen ties between participating teams.
