Under-19s defeat Panetolikos 4-1
PAOK’s Under-19 side easily overcame Panetolikos, winning 4-1 in a match that took place on Saturday afternoon in Souroti. The result moved PAOK’s young gund on to 30 points in top spot of the Super League championship.
PAOK took the lead early on after three minutes with Martos taking advantage of Goumas’ pass to make it 1-0. The visitors equalized in the 29th minute, however, before the first 45 minutes were completed, the Double-headed Eagle found a way to score another two goals to take control of the game. Firstly in the 41st minute, Georgiadis made it 2-1 with a penalty won by Adam, and at the end of the half it was Adam’s turn to score after an assist from Martos.
The second half followed a similar pattern with PAOK dominating, threatening and finally scoring a fourth goal with a well-taken penalty converted by Athanasiou in the 75th minute.
