PAOK B pay for poor start [with pictures]
PAOK B did not resemble their usual selves, at least for one half, as they were caught by surprise in slipping to a 1-0 defeat by Triglia in a match that took place at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium on Matchday 12 of the Betsson Super League 2.
But it is also a fact, that even though the home team took the lead in the fifth minute, the balance could easily have changed drastically in the 28th minute if they had been properly punished when Tasiouras was brought down when having a clear scoring chance. There was no red card shown to the home defender, however. Be that as it may, of course, the bottom line is that although PAOK B pushed and tried hard to change the course of the match, they did not succeed.
Chances were few and far between on both sides, the game was restricted to the midfield area and the one-on-one duels all over that central area were fierce.
PAOK B suffered their second consecutive defeat as a result, and they are now called upon to regroup immediately ahead of the upcoming match against Panserraikos.
