Oliveira takes top goal prize
Three wonderful goals, three scorers, and one tough battle to take home the prize. In the end the winner of December’s Regency Casino Best Goal award was Nelson Oliveira.
It was a great goal. An incredible piece of skill to set it up by Giannis Konstantelias , which… destroyed the Atromitos defence. And the flawless assist was followed up with a classy finish from Nelson Oliveira that left the opposing goalkeeper with no chance.
Up against him in what was a «derby battle» between PAOK’s goalscorers, was the excellent finish by Brandon Thomas in Kalamata, but also the very impressive strike by Douglas Augusto in Agrinio. However, Oliveira came out on top with 44.16% of the votes to win the Regency Casino Best Goal of December.
The Brazileiro finished in second place, while the Spanish forward completed the podium.
