PAOK FC consistently and consciously strives for a clean and fair Greek football, therefore any move in this direction is always welcome for us.
It is a fact that Greek referees have often suffered unfathomable attacks, both personal or even on their families, and generally attempts to influence them in any way.
Their current decision to abstain does not solve the problem and individually it can only be treated as a mild reaction that will soon be forgotten, like the one after the assassination attempt against Mr. Tzilos. However, if the referees wish this to be the first step so that the State mainly, and also the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) will deal more seriously with their security issues, we will treat it as a positive step. They must, however, provide all the evidence necessary for the knife to reach the bone, otherwise it will be another lost opportunity.
We invite them and we stand by them in the unyielding claim of security conditions by the State, which is not understood to have left unsolved crimes against persons, or to show tolerance to threats and pressures from wherever they come.
