November had it all. Three out of three wins in the Stoiximan Super League that included an incredible display of football at the «Georgios Karaiskakis», and two European matches, one against Aberdeen which ensured qualification to the knockout phase, and the magical night in Germany against Eintracht which «locked up» first place in the group. There were many players who stood out. We’ve narrowed it down to four and the hard work of picking the winner is now in your hands.
Andrija Zivkovic is the first contender. The Serb continues his amazing run this season. It wasn’t just the three goals he scored – the two against Olympiacos and Eintracht – but Zile’s overall displays on the pitch. Endless running, passion, intensity, self-sacrifice and being involved all over the pitch.
Next up is Taison. The Brazilian winger scored a goal, provided two assists, and generally showed that a pivotal player he has become. He put in the kilometers, fought with every opponent he came up against, and proved for another month that at PAOK he has found his hunger for football again.
Konstantinos Koulierakis is next to take the baton. #TheHammer didn’t miss a minute from the derby or from the two difficult European games of the month. He brought intensity, passion, dynamism, and contributed the most to the team’s defensive performances, with decisive interventions and showing cold bloodedness in key moments of pressure.
The top four is completed by Magomed Ozdoev . Despite only being with the team for a few months, the Russian has already become a benchmark for Razvan Lucescu’s side’s game. In November he played in all five of the team’s games, dominated the midfield and scored two goals.
