Razvan Lucescu’s team were clearly superior to their opposition, completely dominating the pitch, and despite being behind at half-time, in the second half they scored three goals and retuend home with three valuable points.

One of the top performers on the night was Meïté. The French midfielder put in a busy shift in the midfield. He clocked up countless kilometers, provided the link between defence, midfield and attack, and generally helped in every phase of the game.

In the vote for the Fans’ Man of the Match, Meïté took first place with a percentage of 40.63% and won the individual award, with Ioannis Konstantelias in second place with 31.32%, the winger putting in another impressive display and scoring the third goal. Finally, Andrija Živković completed the podium with 10.55%, the Serbian scoring the breakthrough goal and also dishing out an assist.
