Under-15s going for back-to-back titles
Unfortunatley for the Under-15s, they could not be there to enjoy the historic night of May 19, as they watched on television the amazing events that we all experienced on Sunday night, Monday morning, today, tomorrow… And this is because our Under-15 squad are in Lamia, where after qualifying by beating Panathinaikos (2-1 on penalties), they are preparing for today’s (21.05, 18:00) final against Olympiacos, which will be held at the “Athanassios Diakos” stadium. The aim? Playing their football and celebrating another championship, of course!. Savvas Konstantinidis’ and Kosmas Vakoufaris’ team have been in Lamia since last Friday, have trained there and are ready, as everyone is at the coaches’ disposal as they seek to defend the title which was won last season by the 2008 PAOK generation.
Since 2014, when the championship premiered in the Under-15 category, nine finals have been held, six of which have been between PAOK and Olympiacos. PAOK has three victories, Olympiacos also three. PAOK has one more title, beating Aris 3-1 in the final, and so do Olympiacos, who beat Atromitos on penalties. So a total of four championships each. Panathinaikos, on the other hand, has one victory (against PAOK on penalties).
The match will be broadcast by Novasports, the chanel’s WEB TV, as well as by the Novasports channel on YouTube. It will be shown also via the official Super League website and the official Super League X account.

- It should be noted that Under-14 players who were born in 2010 also got some playing time in PAOK’s Under-15 games. Those players are: Clyde Candriou, Thomas Nikiforo, Alexandros Dimitriadis, and Marvin Evan Gadji.

- The team left yesterday Friday for Lamia and trained there on Saturday morning (18.05). The technical team has all its players at its disposal.
- In the Under-15 championship of the 2023-24 season, youngsters born from 01.01.2009 onwards have the right to participate.
- The matches are played in two 40-minute periods and in the event of a tie, penalties follow.
- 377 footballers competed in this league (339 born in 2009 and 38 born in 2010).
- PAOK had one of the lowest average ages in the league (14.87 years). Panachaki had the lowest average of all (14.62).
