Internationals roundup
The time has come to review the performances of our internationals, both in the UEFA Nations League games and in those of the Africa Cup of Nations in September.
In Greece’s 3-0 win over Finland, Giannis Konstantelias came on in the 46th minute, while in the 2-0 away win over Ireland, he stayed on the bench.
Kiril Despodov scored the only goal of the game for Bulgaria as they beat Northern Ireland (he came on as a substitute in the 78th minute), while in the 0-0 draw with Belarus he was a starter and was substituted in the 83rd minute.
Andrija Živkovic recorded two appearances with the Serbian national team. He played as a starter in the game against Spain (0-0), while in the match against Denmark (a 2-0 loss for the Serbs) he came on as a substitute in the 46th minute.
Dominik Kotarski was included in the Croatia squad, however he did not play in either of the two home games (Portugal – Croatia 2-1 and Croatia – Poland 1-0).
Omar Colley played the entire 90 minutes – being also the captain – of the Gambia side against Tunisia (2-1 loss), while he remained on the bench in the game against Comoros (1-1).
Mady Kamara made two appearances with the S. Guinea national team. He played in the entire match against Congo (a 1-0 loss), and he was also a starter in the game against Tanzania (a 2-1 loss), in which he was replaced in the 69th minute.
Finally, Konstantinos Balomenos was a key player in the 4-0 away win of Greece’s Under-21 side against the Faroe Islands.
