Koulieraki’s wondergoal
Konstantinos Koulierakis’ long-range thunderbolt against Malmö at the Toumba Stadium was chosen by the voting public of paokfc.gr as the Regency Casino Best Goal of July & August.
Voting for the Regency Casino Best Goal of July & August was a formality in the end. The Hammer picked up possession almost 35 yards out from the opposition goal, looked up, and then proceeded to send a rocket of a shot into the top left corner of the net which gave visiting ‘keepr Dahlin no chance.
It was a goal of rare quality, which made it a cake walk in the poll results, with the goal collecting an amazing 91.5% of the votes to win the individual award.
The second and third places were completed by Taison and A. Živković with the goals they scored in the same game against Malmö.
