PAOK B suffer late defeat
With a goal in the last minute of injury time, PAOK B suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Chalastra stadium against POT Iraklis on Matchday 15 of Super League 2.
In a poor first half, in which virtually no football was played, the visitors opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a shot by Tsintonis, with PAOK goalkeeper Montastirlis lying on the turf after suffering a blow (a substitution was made in the 40th minute).
Monastirlis had managed to say «no» in an impressive manner in just the first minute to a free-kick by the visitors a few meters outside the penalty area.
In the second half, POT Iraklis hit the woodwork in the 57th minute with Dimitrios the unlucky player with a header, and in the 58th minute PAOK won a penalty, when Polykratis was fouled inside the box. Gitersos successfully converted the spot-kick and tied the game at 1-1.
And while everything indicated that the game would end a draw, in the eighth minute of added time the visitors scored the winning goal with a close-range shot by Deletic, with the PAOK B players protesting for a double foul, first on Apiacionak and then a handball by Kustas in the build up of the phase of play.
