Superior to their rivals throughout the encounter, high on self-confidence and maintaining a relaxed tempo, PAOK U17s needed one goal in order to prevail over Veria and record their eighth consecutive victory.

The pupils of Alexis Tasoulis and Thanos Kourtoglou remain undefeated in their last 17 encounters and have already secured participation in the final four of the league. It will be held at Giannina in late May.

PAOK have still one match left on their calendar, against Panetolikos at Agrinio, to conclude their engagements in the regular season. They lead the standings in Group B with 69 points, while PAS Giannina caused a major upset by earning qualification to the final four, ahead of Panetolikos and SKODA Xanthi.

Konstantinou scored the only goal of the encounter in the 20th minute, his header meeting Koutousis’ cross. Ten minutes from time, Chatzidimpas’ powerful shot rattled the crossbar.
