In the second part, training focused on technical exercises, especially on finishing skills, as the players of PAOK were told to practice their volleyed shots using both feet.
Stefanos Athanasiadis went on with his recuperation program and didn’t complain of pain in his injured leg. On Tuesday he will attempt to follow part of the session, so that he can join his teammates in normal training on Wednesday and be at the disposal of Angelos Anastasiadis for the UEFA Europa League game at Moldova.
Hedwiges Maduro and Maarten Martens were spared of Monday’s intense session for preventive reasons and are expected to resume normal training on Tuesday. Christos Intzidis and Kristi Qose did just jogging, as they have back pains.
