With a rich and versatile coaching experience, Athanasios Terzis comes to PAOK, as a partner of Alexandros Alexiadis with PAOK B.
He is a Physical Education teacher with a specialization in football, and he holds a postgraduate diploma in coaching, as well as a UEFA A diploma.
As a player he played for various professional clubs, such as Doxa Drama and Pandramaikos. At 29, he decided to devote himself to the study of football and coaching. He was a coach at several teams, both in development football and senior men’s sides. From Keravnos Monastiraki (2nd amateur division), Doxa Volaka (A2 amateur division), Doxa Petroussa, Akritas K. Neurokopiou and Mega Alexander Agios Athanasios (A1 amateur division to the academies of Pandramaikos, Doxa Drama and Apollon Kalythion, mainly as technical director.
In the 2021-22 season he was an assistant coach at Rhodes, and the previous two as head coach at Ialyssos, while from 2022 he was an official coach and trainer at the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO).
He has written and published 22 books with considerable success on the analysis, tactics and training methods of, among others, Guardiola, Mourinho, Bielsa, Klopp, Conte, and Simeone.
He has been invited as a guest speaker and lecturer at numerous coaching conferences and seminars both in Greece and abroad (Germany, USA, Kuwait, Oman, S. Arabia).
