Ivo Marovic from Montenegro attracted interest in Greece from the age of 13, specifically in Athens and at the academy of Valencia. He attracted the interest of the scouts of the PAOK Academy during a friendly match at Under-17 level while playing for his previous club. He started training in his homeland at the age of six, at FK Arena, always having as a priority to become a goalkeeper, just like his grandfather Dragan Perovic, an old acquaintance of Greek football because of his days at Panachaiki. Ivo is already an international with the Montenegro Under-18 side, and Under-19 side and he stands out for his physical attributes.
