Ergys Kace was undoubtedly one of PAOK’s finest on Sunday evening against Atromitos and he got to score the opener. After the final whistle, he spoke on TV:

“We played well. We started strongly and netted twice before the interval. In the second half, it was expected that Atromitos would pressure us, but we managed to hold on to our win and the three points. We were not affected by the international break. It was the same for all teams. We have to keep on the rhythm, continue to play as a team and be as compact as always”.

Regarding his goal: “I am happier for our victory than my goal. It was more important to win tonight”.

Regarding the upcoming encounter against ACF Fiorentina: “It will be a tough match. We all know Fiorentina’s potential. We have three days ahead of us to prepare and I believe that, if we perform like a team, we won’t have any problems”.

Regarding the loss to EA Guingamp: “It was a bad performance, but nothing was decided there. We have several matches ahead of us to change things. We have to go from match to match and get all three points this Thursday”.

What he would like to keep from Sunday’s victory: “Our passion until the last minute. We were tackling until the final whistle. That is what we must do against Fiorentina as well”.
