Airbus UK Broughton FC finished fourth in the first stage of the Welsh Premier League and went on to claim third place in the final stage, behind champions The New Saints and Bala Town. The town of Broughton is however more famous for the Airbus UK aerospace factory where the wings of the Airbus airliner are produced, rather than their football team that was promoted in Wales\u2019 top flight league in 2004.<\/p>\n
Wales occupy 50th place in the UEFA standings and their sides have little to show for in European competition during the last five years.<\/p>\n
NK Lokomotiva Zagreb was founded 101 years ago as \u017d\u0160K Victoria and their name was changed to \u017deljezni\u010dar after World War I. They were renamed to NK Lokomotiva in 1945 and went on to experience their most productive years . They participated in the Yugoslav First League, their best result being 3rd in 1952.<\/p>\n
After Croatia got independent in 1991, NK Lokomotiva played in the lower tiers of Croatian football until 2006, when they started their collaboration with GNK Dinamo Zagreb as their feeder team providing them with homegrown talent. They then gained promotion season by season and reached the top flight in 2010 for the first time after 52 years.<\/p>\n
In 2010-11, NK Lokomotiva finished third from last and would have been relegated, if it were not for the inability of several clubs to be handed a first division licence. So they kept their place among the big ones.<\/p>\n
The best season in their recent history was 2012-13, when they finished second and earned a spot in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. In their first ever European tie they were eliminated by FC Dinamo Minsk. On that same season, they reached the Croatian Cup final, losing to Igor Tudor\u2019s<\/strong> HNK Hajduk Split.<\/p>\n Since the start of 2013-14, NK Lokomotiva had to sever the ties linking them with GNK Dinamo Zagreb due to the Croatian league regulations.
