Last season, PAOK approached the Greek Cup competition too nonchalantly and ended up getting eliminated in the group stage. They learned their lesson though and this time around the \u201cDouble-Headed Eagle\u201d secured their qualification from matchday 2 with a 6-2 win over AO Chania. That was the team profit from the encounter in Crete.<\/p>\n
But there are also the individual performances. Excellent display by Gojko Cimirot<\/strong> in midfield. Erik Sabo<\/strong>, who also showed his finishing skills, and Eyal Golasa<\/strong> are improving in midfield. Attack after attack, excellent passing of the ball, vertical football, several chances to score and some quick goals for a snappy comeback. Jairo equalized and then turned to provider. Two crossers towards Sabo and as many goals by the Slovakian midfielder, a diving header and a shot.<\/p>\n On the same pace<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n PAOK didn\u2019t get the foot off the throttle in the second half \u2013 quite the opposite. They kept on attacking and creating opportunities to score against AO Chania who couldn\u2019t keep up because of Brillakis\u2019s dismissal.
