The training session began with plenty of intensity right from the off. Initially the players worked on fitness conditioning, with some running and obstacle course exercises. After that, the squad was split into two groups. While the first group worked on finishing drills, the second carried out 2 Vs 2 pair exercises and then the groups switched. The last part of the session involved some tactical games with high intensity and a fast pace.<\/p>\n
Miroslav Stoch<\/strong> remained at home due to a virus, while Douglas Augusto<\/strong> stayed indoors as he is suffering from a heavy cold. Omar El Kaddouri, <\/strong>who is nursing a knock from last weekend’s game, did a work-out in the gym. Dimitris Pelkas <\/strong>took part in most of the session with the main group, while Fernando Varela<\/strong> and Adelino Vieieinha<\/strong> worked individually out on the practice pitches.
