PAOK<\/strong> got their noses in front at the AEL FC Arena<\/strong> thank to Dimitris Limnios’ <\/strong>opening goal, but they were looking for a second before half-time to try and kill off the game<\/p>\n

This was the moment Douglas Augusto <\/strong>stepped up to deliver. And he did so in some style. The Brazilian midfielder from Abel Ferreira’s <\/strong>side picked up possession quite a long way out and looked goalwards. Without hesitating, he struck a thunderous long-range drive into the back of the net to make it 2-0 to the visitors.<\/p>\n

And in the voting for the Regency Casino Best Goal of February <\/strong>via paokfc.gr<\/strong> and the PAOK FC Official App<\/strong> there was only going to be one winner. Douglas’<\/strong> exceptional strike in Larissa <\/b>garnered a huge 77,57%<\/strong> of the votes to claim the individual award.<\/p>\n

In second place was Douglas <\/b>once again with his goal against OFI, <\/strong>and the podium was completed by Fernando Varela<\/strong> for his brilliant header against Panathinaikos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
