{"id":606514,"date":"2020-11-13T14:02:50","date_gmt":"2020-11-13T12:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/uncategorized-en\/20201113-entasi-treximo-kai-transition\/"},"modified":"2020-11-13T19:50:54","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T17:50:54","slug":"20201113-entasi-treximo-kai-transition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/en\/news\/20201113-entasi-treximo-kai-transition\/","title":{"rendered":"Intensity, running and transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Without international players <strong>Tziolis<\/strong>, <strong>Michailidis<\/strong>, <strong>Koutsias<\/strong>, <strong>Tsiggaras<\/strong>, <strong>Ingason<\/strong>, <b>Wague <\/b>and <b>Colak, <\/b>but with an appetite for hard work, the PAOK squad gathered for training at <strong>Nea Mesimvria <\/strong>on <strong>Friday (13.11)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After the players submitted their <strong>Covid-19 <\/strong>tests, the players rolled up their sleeves and got down to work. The program began with some running exercises, rondo and ball games. The players were then split into three groups and worked firstly on their passing within restricted spaces, then in larger spaces before switching to work on attacking build-up play, and transitions from defense to attack and vice-versa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Douglas Augusto<\/strong> did not take part in the final part of the training session as a precaution due to feeling some discomfort in his groin. The <strong>Brazilian&#8217;s<\/strong> status will be assessed in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dimitris Giannoulis<\/strong> appeared out on the practice pitches for the first time since his injury and did some individual work, while <strong>Leo Jaba <\/strong>also continued his individual program as he steps up his fitness training after recovering from <strong>Covid-19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, <strong>Enea Mihaj<\/strong> continued his first stage rehab program following knee surgery in <strong>Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Saturday<\/strong> (14.11) the <strong>Double-headed Eagle<\/strong> squad will train at <strong>11:30<\/strong> in <strong>Nea Mesimvria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The main pillars of the PAOK squad&#8217;s training regime during the international break are undoubtedly for the players to maintain their fitness levels as well as focus on further adjusting to the new philosophy of the new coaching team.","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":606431,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1520,5],"tags":[2248,2249,2340],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.5.1 -
