A final of high quality, played at a frenetic pace, with many chances in front of goal for both teams, but the <strong>Double-headed Eagle<\/strong> were triumphant in the end, winning the <strong>Greek Cup<\/strong> for the fourth time in the last five years.<\/p>\n<p>There were many major protagonists. The team&#8217;s back three of <strong>Vieirinha, Crespo, and Varela<\/strong> all put in Herculean displays, while <strong>Douglas<\/strong> and <strong>Schwab<\/strong> worked tirelessly in midfield. Then there is <strong>Rodrigo<\/strong> and <strong>Baba<\/strong> who both gave the team options aplenty with their wingback play, and <strong>Swiderski<\/strong> who battled manfully throughout as the lone frontman. The replacements, <strong>Tsingaras<\/strong> and <strong>Krmencik,<\/strong> who came off the bench, helped also to change the balance of the game during the last 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>And then of course there is <strong>Alexandros Paschalakis<\/strong>. <strong>The Goldkeeper<\/strong> ended a difficult season with a stunning performance. The big goalkeeper was there whenever his team needed him, making a string of saves to deny &#8211; among others &#8211; <strong>Bruma, Masouras<\/strong>, and <strong>Bouchalakis<\/strong>, showing absolute concentration and dedication to his task.<\/p>\n<p>In the poll for <strong>Protergia Fans&#8217; Man of the Match<\/strong>, <strong>Paschalakis<\/strong> received <strong>70%<\/strong> of the votes to claim the individual award.<\/p>\n<p>The only teammate who managed to collect a double-digit percentage was <strong>Michael Krmencik<\/strong>.
