A Brazilian<\/strong> right back, on a free transfer from Dnipro<\/strong>. History seems to be repeating itself for the club. Back then it was Leo Matos<\/strong>, today it\u2019s Lucas Taylor<\/strong>. The new signing represents PAOK\u2019s<\/strong> first transfer of the upcoming 2021-22<\/strong> season.<\/p>\n

Lucas Taylor\u2019s resume<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lucas Taylor Maya Reyes<\/strong> was born on April 10, 1995 in Gaurulo<\/strong>, Sao Paulo<\/strong>. In 2007<\/strong> he joined Palmeiras<\/strong> Under-12s and went on to make some impressive appearances in the young age categories, playing as an attacker, but also as a defensive midfielder.<\/p>\n

Palmeiras<\/strong>\u2019 first team gave him his big professional break in 2015<\/strong>, with Taylor<\/strong> making his debut in August in a game against Coritiba<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This was followed by a cycle of loans to Criciuma<\/strong>, Parana<\/strong>, Red Bull Brasil<\/strong>, Paysandu<\/strong>, Botafogo<\/strong> and Boa<\/strong>, with Taylor<\/strong> making several appearances, mainly in the second tier, standing out for his attacking game.<\/p>\n

His performances soon began to attract the attention of clubs in Europe<\/strong>. A newcomer to the Ukrainian<\/strong> top flight, Lviv<\/strong>, acquired him on loan from Palmeiras<\/strong> for a year.<\/p>\n

Taylor<\/strong> adapted quickly and managed to score three goals and provide two assists in three appearances. He returned to Palmeiras and then moved to Portuguese second tier club Estoril Praia<\/strong> on a free transfer.<\/p>\n

For the first six months he did not get any playing time and decided to leave. Dnipro<\/strong>, who knew of him from his time in Lviv, opted to acquire him in January 2020. With his new team, Taylor<\/strong> played 30 times, scoring once and contributing three assists.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian<\/strong> ended his collaboration with Dnipro<\/strong> in June<\/strong>, and PAOK<\/strong> decided to gave him the opportunity for a new challenge, which he accepted and he is now set to become a resident of Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n
