Born in Lisbon<\/strong> on May 20, 1999<\/strong>, he showed his footballing talent at an early age, winning a place in Benfica’s<\/strong> academies in 2007.<\/p>\n

He progressed through all the age categories and the stages of the educational process at the Eagles<\/strong> and reached the reserve team, with which he made his debut in the second division in February 2017<\/strong>, before he even turned 18.<\/p>\n

In July 2018<\/strong> he moved to Estoril<\/strong> and had a full season in the Portuguese<\/strong> second division, making 31 appearances and scoring two goals.<\/p>\n

His appearances and playing characteristics led Moreirense<\/strong> to move to acquire his services and give him the opportunity to play in the Portuguese<\/strong> top flight for the first time.<\/p>\n

The start was difficult, as shortly after his debut he suffered an injury that held him back a bit, but Soares<\/strong> returned stronger and by December 2021 <\/strong>he established himself as one of the best midfielders in the league and a rising star of Portuguese<\/strong> football.<\/p>\n

He even won a place in the Portuguese<\/strong> Under-21<\/strong> side and he remains part of that squad today, having gone through all of the younger age groups at international level.<\/p>\n

PAOK<\/strong> offered Soares<\/strong> a new challenge in his career and the Portuguese<\/strong> midfielder has accepted it.<\/p>\n
