{"id":731819,"date":"2023-03-12T14:07:58","date_gmt":"2023-03-12T12:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/uncategorized-en\/20230312-fans-man-of-the-match-o-douglas\/"},"modified":"2023-03-12T15:57:32","modified_gmt":"2023-03-12T13:57:32","slug":"20230312-fans-man-of-the-match-o-douglas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/en\/news\/20230312-fans-man-of-the-match-o-douglas\/","title":{"rendered":"Douglas wins Fans\u2019 Man of the Match award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PAOK<\/strong> were a delight to watch in <strong>Lamia<\/strong>, scoring five goals as they took a decisive step towards qualifying for the final of the <strong>2022-23 Greek Cup<\/strong>. <strong>Razvan Lucescu&#8217;s<\/strong> team completely dominated proceedings and the final 5-1 scoreline gives <strong>PAOK<\/strong> a clear lead ahead of the <strong>Toumba<\/strong> second-leg clash.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Douglas Augusto<\/strong> was one of the leaders on the night. The <strong>Brazilian<\/strong> was in imperious form in both defense and attack, winning every duel and contributing most to the team&#8217;s build-uo play. If that was not enough, he also scored a fantastic goal with a&#8230; magical lob from outside the penalty area.<\/p>\n<p>And so in the poll for the <strong>Fans&#8217; Man of the Match<\/strong> it was the <strong>Brazileiro<\/strong> who won the prize, beating off some tough competition from <strong>Konstantelias<\/strong> and <strong>Sastre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In second place was <strong>Mr.Breeze,<\/strong> who produced yet another enjoyable display and scored a beautiful goal, while the podium was completed by <strong>Mr. Unbreakable,<\/strong> who scored a great goal from left-back, servied up an assist, and did everything he could and more in the match overall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Douglas Augusto came out on top in the poll for the Fans\u2019 Man of the Match award for the first leg of the 2022-23 Greek Cup semi-final contest with Lamia at the &#8220;Athanasios Diakos&#8221; Stadium.","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":724190,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1520,5],"tags":[2551,3046,4508,10037,10800,13498],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.5.1 -
