Sluggish in the first 20 minutes, PAOK B<\/strong>, perhaps influenced by the quick goal conceded in the fifth minute via Papasterianos<\/strong>, were unable to assert their game onto their opponents. Of course, they did create some chances at the other end, notably sfter the half-hour mark, and had two dangerous chances through Panagiotou<\/strong> in the 36th minute and Darelas<\/strong> in the 38th minute, but neither could score.<\/p>\n

And while in the second half PAOK B<\/strong> did look more determined, getting closer to the opposition goal, they showed a lack of composure. The result was that Kabaniakos<\/strong> threatened on dangerous counter-attacks with Talichmanidis<\/strong>, however, making saves on at least three occasions. From a set-piece, however, the home side made it 2-0 in the 51st minute with Bousi’s<\/strong> header. PAOK’s <\/strong>second string failed to react and suffered a defeat that leaves them stuck on 16 points.<\/p>\n
