{"id":802904,"date":"2024-06-11T11:47:04","date_gmt":"2024-06-11T08:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/uncategorized-en\/20240611-xronia-polla-tomasz\/"},"modified":"2024-06-11T13:46:06","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T10:46:06","slug":"20240611-xronia-polla-tomasz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paokfc.gr\/en\/news\/20240611-xronia-polla-tomasz\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Birthday Tomasz!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kedziora<\/strong>\u00a0was born on June 11, 1994 in\u00a0<strong>Sulech\u00f3w<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Poland<\/strong>\u00a0and was into football at the deep end from early on.\u00a0<strong>Miroslav\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0father was a coach at the\u00a0<strong>Zielona<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Gora<\/strong>\u00a0academies and he started taking him to training sessions and coaching him from the age of four, playing with kids up to four years older than him.<\/p>\n<p>In 2000 he officially joined the\u00a0<strong>Zielona<\/strong>\u00a0youth setup. In 2010, under his father\u2019s guidance, he played in the final stage of a development tournament in\u00a0<strong>Poland<\/strong>\u00a0and attracted the interest of champions\u00a0<strong>Lech Poznan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He joined their second team straight away, took on a leading role and in the autumn of the 2011\u201312 season earned his promotion to the first team.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>July 2012<\/strong>\u00a0he made his official senior debut in a European game against\u00a0<strong>Zetsu<\/strong>\u00a0from Kazakhstan, and since then with steady steps he started to become a key player for the team.<\/p>\n<p>In total, he made 151 appearances for\u00a0<strong>Lech<\/strong>, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists, won a championship and two\u00a0<strong>Polish Cups<\/strong>, before it was time for the next move.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dynamo Kyiv<\/strong>\u00a0was the team who made him theirs in the summer of 2017, while a few months later the first call came from the\u00a0<strong>Polish<\/strong>\u00a0national team, with whom he has played in 26 games to date, scoring one goal and two assists, having previously played at all age levels of the youth teams of his homeland.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>Kyiv<\/strong>\u00a0he adapted very quickly and became a key member of the team. He won one championship, two Ukrainian Cups, three Super Cups, played in 198 matches, scored seven goals and provided 20 assists, while also working under the guidance of Razvan Lucescu\u2019s father, Mircea.<\/p>\n<p>When the war broke out in\u00a0<strong>Ukraine<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kendziora<\/strong>\u00a0returned on loan to\u00a0<strong>Lech Poznan<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>March 2022<\/strong>, playing in seven matches and celebrating a league title.<\/p>\n<p>He returned to\u00a0<strong>Dynamo<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Kyiv<\/strong>\u00a0and this season he played in 18 matches, in the league,\u00a0<strong>Champions League<\/strong>\u00a0qualifiers and\u00a0<strong>Europa League<\/strong>\u00a0groups.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Pole<\/strong> joined on loan in <strong>January 2023<\/strong> and renewed his loan in the summer, to play for another year in the <strong>Double-headed Eagle<\/strong> shirt.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>2023-24<\/strong> season, <strong>Kedziora<\/strong> made 47 appearances, scored three goals and was one of the key players in helping the club win the championship!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Happy Birthday Thomas!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Our Polish defender Tomasz Kedziora turns 30 today, and PAOK FC would like to wish him many years of health, happiness and successes on both a personal and professional level.","protected":false},"author":32,"featured_media":802896,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1520,5],"tags":[2378,2457,3766,16038],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v18.5.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Happy Birthday Tomasz!
