The assignment was a difficult one against a league champion. The hosts entered the pitch with a desire to press and in the opening minutes they did just that. But Razvan Lucescu’s<\/strong> players quickly balanced out the game and then took control of it. After some good chances were missed, a goal came that essentially decided the result.<\/p>\n

Ozdoev<\/strong> provided the assist, with Murg<\/strong> scoring in the 25th minute, and PAOK<\/strong> took the lead and never looked back.<\/p>\n

In fact, with the one-goal advantage in their favor, the Double-headed Eagle<\/strong> players created more good opportunities before teh half-time break.<\/p>\n

PAOK<\/strong> started the second half strongly as well, imposing their tempo, and despite the fact that they had good chances, they did not extend their lead.<\/p>\n

For their part, Bor\u00e1c Banja Luka<\/strong> tried to find a goal to get back into the tie in the finale, but the PAOK<\/strong> defence held them at bay to lock up the result.<\/p>\n

PAOK<\/strong> then won both of their first two games in Europe<\/strong> and booked a date with Malmo<\/strong> in the 3rd qualifying round of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
