Born on March 17, 1994, in\u00a0Paris, France<\/strong>,\u00a0Meite<\/strong>\u00a0began his professional career with\u00a0Auxerre<\/strong>, making his Ligue 1 debut during the 2011-12 season. The following season\u00a0Lille<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Auxerre<\/strong>\u00a0agreed a deal for the then 19-year-old\u00a0Frenchman<\/strong>, with the former loaning him back to\u00a0Auxerre<\/strong>\u00a0to make 22 appearances, finding the net twice.<\/p>\n

Meite<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>returned to\u00a0Lille<\/strong>, where he remained until the 2015-16 season, making 41 appearances.<\/p>\n

In the winter transfer window of 2016 he moved to\u00a0Zulte Waregem.<\/strong>\u00a0He spent two years in the\u00a0Jupiler Pro League<\/strong>, first on loan and then via regular transfer. The\u00a0Frenchman<\/strong>\u00a0featured in 58 games, scoring two goals and registering two assists, starring in the side that won the\u00a0Belgian Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the 2017\u201318 season he returned to Ligue 1 again, this time for\u00a0Monaco<\/strong>, with the transfer costing \u20ac8,000,000. At the\u00a0\u00abMonegasque\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0he played three times before going on loan to\u00a0Bordeaux<\/strong>, where he made 19 appearances, scored one goal and provided two assists.<\/p>\n

The following season he moved to\u00a0Serie A<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Torino<\/strong>. The\u00a0Frenchman<\/strong>\u00a0played for the club 94 times, scoring three goals and providing seven assists.<\/p>\n

His performances attracted the interest of\u00a0Milan<\/strong>, who signed him on loan in January 2021 and he played in 21 games, notching one assist.<\/p>\n

The next stop in\u00a0Meite\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0career was\u00a0Benfica<\/strong>. In\u00a0Lisbon<\/strong>\u00a0he made 27 appearances before leaving on loan for\u00a0Cremonese<\/strong>\u00a0in the 2022-23<\/strong> season, where he made 35 appearances and produced two assists.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2023<\/strong>, he became a resident of Thessaloniki<\/strong> and made history! Meite<\/strong> played in 42 matches, and scored one goal and dished out two assists, contributing decisively to winning the championship. In the summer of 2024,<\/strong> he returned to Benfica<\/strong> and now he is coming back to the Toumba<\/strong> Stadium<\/strong> to wear the black and white jersey once more.<\/p>\n
